1. About Us

These terms and conditions govern your use of this website and any services provided byLondon & City Pressure Washing Services Ltd (“the Company”, “we”, “us”). Registered in England and Wales. Company number: 16747753. Registered address: 2 Anchor Way, North Fambridge, Chelmsford, Essex, CM3 6FY.

By using this website or engaging our services, you agree to these terms.

2. Quotations

• All quotations are provided free of charge and without obligation.
• Quotes are valid for 30 days from the date issued unless otherwise stated.
• Final pricing may be adjusted following an on-site survey if conditions differ materially from the initial description.
• We reserve the right to decline any job at our discretion.

3. Booking & Payment

• No deposit is required. We never ask for upfront payment.
• Payment is due upon satisfactory completion of the work unless a prior written agreement states otherwise.
• Accepted payment methods: bank transfer, cash. Card payments by arrangement.
• Invoices not paid within 14 days of the due date may incur a late payment charge of 8% per annum above the Bank of England base rate, in accordance with the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998.

4. Our Guarantee

• We offer a 3-year minimum guarantee on all cleaning and treatment work against regrowth of moss, algae, and lichen where biocide treatment has been applied.
• We offer a tile replacement guarantee on all roof cleaning work. If any roof tile is damaged as a direct result of our cleaning process, we will replace it at no cost to you.
• Guarantees are void if: the property is subject to structural defects pre-existing before our work; if surfaces are subsequently treated with incompatible products; or if damage occurs due to causes outside our control (storm damage, subsidence, etc.).

5. Our Cleaning Methods

• We use the correct pressure and chemistry for each surface. All surfaces are cleaned at controlled low pressure — driveways and block paving at low pressure sufficient to remove growth without damaging joints; roofs, patios, stonework, render and conservatories at appropriately safe low pressure with specialist solutions. We do not use high pressure on any surface.
• Driveways are pressure washed, chemically treated and finished with kiln-dried sand refilled into joints. Patios are cleaned at low pressure with commercial strength bleach for black lichen and spots. Render is cleaned with sodium hypochlorite at the correct concentration for the render type. Brick is cleaned with specialist acids where required.
• For biological growth (moss, algae, lichen), a professional biocide treatment is applied after every clean in accordance with manufacturer guidelines.
• All chemicals used are industry-approved, biodegradable where possible, and applied by trained operatives.
• We are a Smart Seal approved contractor. All sealing products are applied in 2 coats by hand roller in accordance with Smart Seal specifications, over a surface left a minimum of 3–5 days to dry after cleaning.

6. Access & Property

• The customer is responsible for ensuring clear and safe access to the areas to be cleaned.
• Vehicles, garden furniture, and other items should be moved prior to our arrival. We are not liable for damage to items not moved.
• We will take reasonable care of your property at all times. Any pre-existing damage should be noted and agreed in writing before work commences.
• We require safe ladder or scaffold access for roof work. We are scaffold tower certified.

7. Health & Safety

• We are fully insured with public liability insurance.
• We are a Google Guaranteed business — our credentials have been independently verified by Google.
• All operatives work in accordance with current health and safety regulations.
• Customers and third parties must not be present in or around the work area during cleaning operations unless agreed in advance.

8. Cancellation

• You may cancel or reschedule a booking with at least 24 hours notice at no charge.
• Cancellations with less than 24 hours notice may incur a charge of up to 25% of the quoted price to cover mobilisation costs.
• We reserve the right to reschedule bookings in the event of unsafe weather conditions (high winds, heavy rain, freezing temperatures).

9. Liability

• Our liability to you is limited to the value of the work carried out.
• We are not liable for any indirect, consequential, or economic loss.
• We are not liable for pre-existing damage, wear and tear, or defects that were present before our work commenced.
• Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud.

10. Disputes

In the event of a dispute, please contact us in the first instance at 07849 177724. We aim to resolve all complaints within 5 working days. If we are unable to resolve a dispute, it may be referred to an independent mediation service.

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
